This year LMT is going to MWC 2019 and bringing along its latest innovations, projects and pilots in the realm of mobile curiosity.

They will all be on show at the LMT Innovations stand that can be recognized by its natural facade – built out of moss, it is the natural place for new ideas to be sewn.

LMT Innovations has been nominated for two GLOMO awards in the categories of 5G Pioneers, and Best Mobile Breakthrough for the fixed mobile network and mobile-only home TV.

Both products will be on show at the stand, and the project managers themselves will be on location to demonstrate the products and answer all related questions.

LMT Innovations – when curiosity meets mobile

LMT Innovations is a branch of Latvia’s most-connected mobile operator, and living proof of what happens when a MO lets itself be curious. With a strong history in innovations, LMT has explored opportunities from a mobile-only future, to self-driving cars to pioneering 5G infrastructure. Not all ideas have proven stellar, while others have graduated to become new, unique revenue streams for mobile operators around the world.

This year’s MWC stand will demonstrate LMT Innovations’ projects that have proven themselves to be viable. They include:

  • Mobile-enabled UTM platform
  • Mobile-only smart home TV (GLOMO award nominee)
  • 5G-enabled intelligent transportation platform
  • AI-powered rescue drones
  • Fixed-wireless internet (GLOMO award nominee)
  • Mobile-native business phone system
  • Smart smoke alarm
  • Universal IoT sensor gateway

LMT Innovations stand can be recognized by its natural facade - built out of moss, it is the natural place for new ideas to be sewn.

Each project will be presented at MWC, and any interested individuals are invited to join. The presentations will be at the LMT stand at these times:

We’ll be happy to see you there!

Peat moss – fertile soil for sprouting ideas

The LMT booth this year will be a departure from the typical stand, and an homage to our small foresting country. Created by acclaimed artists Katrina Neiburga and Andris Eglitis, the booth is built out of peat-moss – one of Latvia’s largest export products, and also a versatile product. One of its most well-known attributes is that it provides a nutrient-rich environment for new flora to take root and grow. That’s why at this year’s booth, among the moss you’ll find LMTs most promising and fresh ideas.
